Pavé au Chocolat: Matcha and White Chocolate Squares

Pavé au Chocolat: Matcha and White Chocolate Squares
Ingredients:
5 oz white chocolate
3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
1/2 tablespoon unsalted butter
1/4 cup freeze-dried raspberries
1 tablespoon matcha (green tea) powder


Directions:
Cover a square dish (about 5×5 inches) with a plastic wrap.

In a food processor, pulse the raspberries into fine pieces.
In a saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the white chocolate and heavy whipping cream. Stir in the butter and then freeze-dried raspberries.

Pour the chocolate over the prepared square dish, and chill in fridge for at least 4 hours.


 Remove from the dish and cut into 1/2 inch squares.


Strain the matcha powder through a thieve to get rid of any lumps.




Cover the chocolate squares all over with the matcha.






Note:
You can use cocoa powder instead of matcha.
